Centuries ago a powerful evil was unleashed in the Galaxy. To stop this evil, known as the Ahriman, the gods created 11 guardians to protect the planets. As long as these guardians belived in their powers the Evil could not venture to the planets they guarded. One guardian, the guardian of the Earth, felt that the gods didn't give her enough power. They were, after all, living on her planet. This guardian turned her back on her fellow guardians and the Ahriman came to her planet.
Now, centuries later, 10 new girls are discovering their powers. People have begun to disappear from the streets of New York City. No one seems to have noticed, except for the very perceptive Macy Walker, Mercury Guardian, second-in-command and messenger between the Gods and Guardians. A mentor has been sent to find the Guardians and bring them together. Some problems remain. None of the Guardians know each other. They come from many different backrounds. And the final Guardian is the new young leader of the Ahriman. How will ten young New York girls get over their daily lives and problems to save the Galaxy.
