ALEXANDER J. BRAXTON PERFORMING ARTS SCHOOLOut of all of the boarding schools in the United States, which is not many, there are even fewer schools that while allow their students to achieve their goals academic wise and social wise, as well as preparing them for the real world, there are few schools that specialize in students with immense talents in the arts. Tucked in the small town of Braxton, Maine--right along the misty, romantic, mysterious coast of the Atlantic ocean--lies the Alexander J. Braxton Arts Academy for students ages 14-18.
Just because you're away from your parents doesn't mean that it's all fun and games though. Whether your major is in photography or dancing, instruments or vocals, you will get worked and worked and worked--because after all you are gifted, aren't you? The teachers are here to see that you abide by every single rule set in place, to the fact that you're not allowed to chew gum during school to the fact that spaghetti strap shirts are not allowed to be worn during class time.
Even though you're supposed to be following the rules and you're supposed to be tucked into bed with a curfew of 11:30 pm on school nights and 1:30 am on weekends, hardly any students abide by these rules. So, you're gifted, and so, you're in this school either a block away or thousands of miles away from your parents. Feel free to do whatever you want, say whatever you want, live your life. Just be sure not to get caught.are you ready? [/center]
