Orion Academy Of The Elite;;
Gustat Huckleben Orion, founder of Orion Academy decided to make this school on a certain date of December 3, 1932. That means, this school has been kept alive for 75 years. While the academy is still considered at a young age, many events have taken place here. Students now take from Dec. 3rd-Dec.7th off in memory of their founder. Orion does not celebrate the same holidays and vacations that normal schools have, but indeed, they have created their own to be fair to those who attend.
Nowadays, OA allows lesser students to integrate themselves with the enrolled due to a Scholarship program that was donated in 1984, and those who are in the program are definitely something to be proud of. The requirements for this scholarship is: a GPA of 3.8 or higher, several E.C recommendations, honors from all classes, and an IQ of 145 or higher. In shorter term, they should be an inch away from being a genius or in fact, a genius. It is true that it is hard to earn this position and only 2 students out of a hundred actually make it, but those who are, also make it into the school Honorable Records.
The Enrolled students are, what you would call, students of greater values. Even though now, staff are asked not to use such terms in front of students to show their equality. Among the students, however, that equality does not exist. Be it as it may, the enrolled are often children belonging to wealthy corporate families or an heir/ess to a certain business/will. Most of these students have private studies to teach them how to become the perfect successor and someone who will make it large in the real world. Orion is often noted for releasing the most ingenious adults into the world, and they are also printed weekly in many popular magazines to criticize they're unique establishment.
All students are treated equally, even though some teachers break that rule. They segregate not by race but by status in money. Many of those teachers have been fired by our current headmaster, but a certain amount hide their true feelings to avoid such confrontation. Instead, they communicate their hatred between status secretly and inconspicuously. Events are held to show the bonds between the two, but many students prefer not to relate themselves in such activities, until they were deemed as mandatory. All ages, have a problem or two in this school, from minuscule to problems that can no longer be ignored, but this school is trying to manage them so that they will stay a 'perfect' school as it had been in the beginning.
But, in the beginning, many revolts and boycotts were held to keep the lesser status from entering such a school. Some parents going as far as taking their child away from the school until OA reached their demands. The richer few tried to sue the school for such an abomination, even though in the end they lost, and the lesser allowed into the school.
Over the years, they finally accepted the others, but the Elite in the school's name remained. Only because they had higher expectation for those in scholarships rather than those enrolled.
The Truth is, most of these students are normal, they allow themselves to get included into average teen drama. Including gossip, lies, and painful moments. This school happens to have more drama because of the slight segregation between status. Braniacs vs. Rich
or whatever spills there might be between students.
A certain few students are also rebels, they act in a rebellion behind school authorities and very few are caught. The school itself is not strict, and they are very understanding.
But when it comes to crime and punishment, they are really-really tough.
